General Assembly

According to the Statute of the Olympic Committee of Serbia (articles 15-20), the supreme body of the OCS is the General Assembly.
As the supreme body of the OCS, the General Assembly approves the programmes of activities of the OCS; approves the Statute of the OCS and other general documents and interprets their provisions; decides on the admittance to the OCS; decides which federations or organisations the OCS should join; elects president and members of the bodies of the General Assembly, etc.
The duration of the terms of office of the General Assembly members is four years. The General Assembly consists of the representatives of the Olympic sports federations of Serbia and affiliated members, 16 athletes elected by the sports federations of Serbia whose athletes have won Olympic medals, and the representatives of the Sports Federation of Serbia and the Sports Association of Serbia.
The IOC members from Serbia and Montenegro are full members of the General Assembly.
